When does usc’s FA come out after being admitted
Financial Aid Awards for new freshmen are not released until early April according to the portal.
I’ve been to scared to post here. I am so anxious to find out my decision! All I can do is hope for the best and not cry.

I hope we all get in! This wait is so anxiety-inducing but I’m sure I’ll look back on this year fondly.
Just in case people here were wondering, I went back through old threads on this forum to see when the most likely date for decisions to come out. Most people who commented said they got it through mail, but some people in this thread were talking about checking their portal, so I’m not sure exactly how we’ll find out. Anyway, I looked up the last four years’ threads, and the following dates are the date when a majority of the commenters said they received their decision in the mail.
2014: Thursday, 3/27
2013: Monday, 3/25
2012: Tuesday, 3/27
2011: Wednesday, 3/23
Now unfortunately, it appears we do not have a set date, however the last three years have all had thier decisions released the last week in March, which would put us this year at 3/23 to 3/27. If I had to bet a day, I would say Wednesday the 25th, but if not that definitely somewhere in that week. This is what happens when you’re too nervous waiting on all your decisions lol. All decisions will be posted in about a week of time after they start.
I’ve been searching and searching and I cannot find when the next admitted students event is for usc. Anyone here know?
So when will we receive the decision on our online portal? I’ll be out of town between the 23rd and 27th so I’m hoping they release decisions electronically too!

From what I’ve heard, they put the decisions online in the portal on March 29, regardless of whenever they start to mail out decisions.

@bsalum from posts from past years. Decisions have been mailed out on various dates but regardless of the mailing date, they seem to have consistently been putting them online on the 29th.
Here’s a message someone received on their portal on the 27th a few years ago:
“The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you do not receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results of this online through USConnect March 29th at noon Pacific Time.”
Many people received their letters in the mail even before they got out online though!
I’m already freaking out, but hopefully my huge blood drive next week and the week after that will distract me enough from all these college stuff XD
Oh, also, does anyone know if legacy students get some advantage or not?
My sibling already attends USC, but I’m not sure if that bumps the chances as much compared to applicants with parents as alums.
It says on the YouSC portal that the website will be down tomorrow morning…could they be posting admissions decisions?
