Once you go NuclearPakistan1’s hand, you never go back.

^What!! Only Emma Watson could tell you that…

Schmaltz=Emma Watson??

this is much more fun than whining about colleges.

Yeah, NP1, it’s Emma. Come see me my first week of school. Just force your way through all the bodyguards. That should be easy for a stallion like you.

this comment wins. by far.

Yeshiva university will be back in the top 50!!!

Probably 48, but will see!!!

This isn’t the preseason college football polls. Schools don’t have that much upward and downward mobility.

why is yeshiva in the top 50 when northeastern and many others aren’t? and no way is it comparable to tulane or penn state

please, as if. there are multiple articles saying that she is going to both schools. this is also “on her own words”

soooooo basically do some research before you accuse me of being ignorant thanks!

what are peoples thoughts on wake forest rising? It seems like a phenomenal school with a really solid undergrad business/accounting program, but its acceptance rate has always been pretty high. I never understood how it isnt on par with top southern schools like UVA or vandy. Does the high acceptance rate mean they are taking underqualified students, not attracting the top students or just get a lot of good applicants and accept from a small pool? Also while the new statistics dont go into this years rankings, how will dropping the SAT requirement effect their rankings in 2011? Whats it going to take for it to be a premier university, like top 20?

Wake Forest is a great school. Applicants went from 7,000~ to over 10,000 this year so application rate will be down and SATs will be up. Wake Forest is a different sort of school than UVA, but probably stronger for undergraduate and comparable to Vanderbilt.

if i were to tell people i was going to wake forest they’d probably have no clue what i’m talking about. everyone knows NYU though.

I think North Idaho College has pretty much got #1 locked in.

My prediction:hardly anything will change besides minor 1-2 spot changes and a few, rare 5 spot ups or down. cool

I think the only school that i can recall to make that type of jump was USC a few years back, when it jumped up 7 spots from 42 to 35.

University of Chicago (yes, i remember this).

2007: #16
2008: #9

+6 spots because Chicago had apparently been underrated because USNews officials had been generating data incorrectly for a while. whatever. lol

Johns Hopkins University

1995: #22
1996: #10

+12 spots

1999: #14
2000: #7

+7 spots

ROFL

^

Those were the years when USNews changed it methology…
