haha. I actually spent most of the my time for that class in my bed sleeping because I just stopped going outright after the first week or two. When I did go, it was all wiki surfing.

i hope someone can help me with this!

i have chem lab from 6-6:50 and then enwr at 7!

is there any way i can get from chem to english in 10 mins or should i switch my enwr subject?!!?

If your english class is in Cabell, you should be able to make it in 10minutes. Talk to your teacher or TA in english and explain to them that you have a lab right before it and you may be a few minutes late occasionally. If they know upfront, they shouldn't have an issue. If there's another enwr class you might like, that fits better into your schedule, you could change, but I don't think you're going to have much of a problem with your current schedule.

thanks shoebox10! well my enwr class is in cabell hall, i think, i mean it says CABB as opposed to other classes that just say CAB ( i dont know the difference)! so do u know appoximately how many minutes it takes from the chem lab building to enwr by just walking?

Probably 10min, maybe a bit under. I could get from Thornton to Cabell in 5min and Chem to Thornton is a few minutes, so you should be fine. And plus, there's a bus stop right outside Chem so you can catch one of the 3 buses that will go by and can take you to the Cabell stop. A bus would get you there in 3min.

oh ok thanks so much!

i actually have one more question though, whats the diff between CAB and CABB, are they different cabell halls or is it just me?

i have chem lab from 6-6:50 and then enwr at 7!

Um, 1600 on the COD means 4:00 pm...

Also, maybe CABB and CAB are used to distinguish between old and new cabell building...just throwing it out there.

Okay I'm looking on the COD and I don't see CABB anywhere.

If your room number starts with a B it means it's the basement level of new cabell hall. only a few of the staircases actually go down that far so you might want to make sure you know how to get down there.

Hey. so im registering for classes and was wondering what the easiest biology class was with the coolest professor?

are you just looking to take a random bio class to fulfill the math/sci reqs? Or are you looking to gain a solid foundation in biology courses to take higher level classes?

Sorry for tagging on but, which ENWR class is better in your opinion: Intimacy or Emitions? Also, would it be better to take a Math and a Physics course first semester as a first year, or a Math and an English course?

Thanks a lot guys

If you’re a good math student, you should be fine with a Math and a Physics, but I think it is generally easier to diversify somewhat and take a Math and an English. The issue with a Math and Physics is there are a lot of problem sets.

just to fulfill the requirements for now…

i would guess nutrition…

Okay well my schedule is pretty random, but I have no idea what I want to major in so I Thought that was best.
MATH 231, calc 3
RELC 105 (?), hebrew bible/ old testament
PHYS 101, concepts of physics
SPAN 201, Spanish
ARTH 101 (?), history of Art I
…I don’t remember all the numbers.
comments, concerns? I’m starting to worry that it might be too much? It’s 17 credits… But I really wanted to take a variety of classes and subjects so I could figure out what I want to do… Not to mention I love basically all of those things, well except Spanish … damn language requirement *scowls. and I’m not entirely sure about physics either but I felt like I should take at least one science-y class and that was the one that seemed the least threatening…bio/chem just scare the crap out of me lol. Anyways, what do you think?

I knew a religion major who took the bible class - daily quizzes, so make sure to do your reading. art history is a lot of memorization. physics will be easy though, esp for someone taking calc 3! but i took astr 121 so i can’t really talk. we spent an entire lecture on semicircles lol.

Can you give me a hand here:

Stacie Pisano or Guadagni for APMA 1110?

*With whom may i get better grades?

My schedule is a little random too. I am thinking about trying for the COMM school.

HEBR 1010 - Intro to Modern Hebrew I (Hedda Harari-Spencer)
MATH 1210 - Applied Calculus I (Justin Webster)
PHYS 1050 - How Things Work (Louis Bloomfield)
PSYC 1010 - Introductory Psychology (Chad Dodson)
RELG 1010 - Intro Western Religious Trads (Heather Warren)

Baehlor, I heard Pisano is the better teacher overall.

But Guadagni’s pretty cool too.

I’m with Pisano and her class is full while guadagni’s class still has a couple of seats left. I’ll take that as a sign haha. Thanks.
