@monk123 ok yeah I am in the college of arts and sciences too. Is your major pre-science?
@whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yeah my unofficial transcript says pre-science too. What was your alternate major choice?
@whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and @monk123 r u both OOS. Did u apply to ur desired major and it came out as pre science… seems only very few instate ppl get DA
@monk123 pre-engineering. Do you know if UWash has a separate college for engineering bc that would mean I am leaning toward CS hmmm…
Did any international applicant get his acceptance through the “unofficial transcript method”
@USUG21 I am OOS. So I wasn’t a DA that makes sense. Do you know if being in pre-science would help transferring to CS? Thanks for the clarification btw.
@chipshark i m international and i got yday in the 1st round. I got my congratulation message also
@whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i applied to CS . I got as pre engineering. But i think we sd nt worry. As read from website only 100 ppl from very top washington schools get DA. All others can declare major while in college…
@shaboiBStiz seriously?? and you got into Computer science? I have a 3.3 and a1310/1600 on the new SAT and haven’t heard anything
@shaboiBStiz r u instate DA
Y’all, don’t believe everything you read on CC.
I’m an international, I got my decision on the enrollment confirmation page, like 9 am yesterday. I’m majoring in Biomedical Engineering
Just saying. The unofficial transcript “hack” is not actually hack. It is a feature made available to you when you get in. Calling it a hack would be very dubious. Your portal has been updated, which is why you can see the transcript.
When you open myUW there should be link in the center saying
“International Freshman Application: autumn quarter 2017”
Click on it. A page will open. Read what’s written on the page.
There would be a message like this:
“Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you admission to the University of Washington for autumn quarter 2017. An official letter has been mailed to you. Please allow sufficient time for the mail to reach you, especially if you live outside of Washington state. You may choose to accept or decline your admission to the Seattle campus of the UW online. The deadline to confirm your enrollment is May 1, 2017.”
@Ben576569 ur major in official transcript shows biomedical engg ???
@IamINTP whts ur major showing.u r international…
@Ben576569 @monk123 @Discombobulate98 I’ve heard that it’s very hard to get into GT through RD if you are OOS.
Has anyone received a letter yet?
@IamINTP what was ur intended major
I’m pretty nervous about this whole process and I was wondering if you guys could look at my stats and chance me? I don’t mean to annoy anyone I just would really like a second opinion because I’m on the cusp.
