***Official UW Class of 2022 Decision Thread***

@monkeyg56 Please see post #242 and we are still waiting to be vetted. However, I helped a few of you today over direct message with some issues so they probably could verify our authenticity.

I don’t know, but @UWadmissionstaff has actually been giving correct information this whole time, and they have been requested to be verified by the moderator of this thread @vonlost. It is all explained in post #242. All I can tell you is that I trust @UWadmissionstaff that the decisions have not been released for anybody – including myself (I’ve checked) and @UWISMYDREAMM.

@UWadmissionstaff @WolfBlood Ah, okay. Thank you both! I didn’t see that post.

I can confirm that @UWadmissionstaff is authentic because they direct messaged me and were able to provide me with information only they could know (like my netID)! Hope this helps (:

MODERATOR’S NOTE:

Not yet. My guess is that the user is legitimate based upon info that I have, but there is one person here who does that vetting.

On a related topic, the user UWISMYDREAMM is not legitimate, and that account has been banned with several posts deleted.

@UWadmissionstaff What is the current situation in regard to decision releases? Does it look like you plan on releasing them on March 5, or possibly a bit later? Thank you!

Thank you for the info you are providing @UWadmissionstaff !!! Appreciate your engagement, providing us with real and accurate info and keep us from going off the deep end.

@UWadmissionstaff Thank you for clarifying. Just wondering, should we expect our decisions to be updated on our online MyUW account before receiving any letters?

@gyt0005 When they release decisions, starting as early as March 5th, decisions will be loaded on MyUW. They cannot load them all in one day, though it seems most probable that you will see your decision in MyUW first.

@UWadmissionstaff When the decisions come out March 5th onwards, do we expect to see a random number of people been given their acceptances and rejections, or do we expect to see the topmost people getting their acceptances and no rejections followed by the lower bound people and then the rejections…?

@Palaksh Decisions are released in a completely random order, regardless if they are rejections/waitlists or acceptances.

Do the portal update before receiving letters?

@tottenhamboi18 Yea MyUW will be updated before you receive the postal mail I think from what was said here on this forum

Just to sum up, so I’m not confused; on March 5th decisions will roll out in a random order and our portals will be updated on the 5th as well, regardless of when we get our letter or email?

We dont know for certain it is Monday but probably next week. When my son was accepted in 2016 it was an email and on the portal the same day and then a nice packet in the mail a few weeks later. As I recall from College Conf website others got decisions on the same day but not sure if there were more than one day of decisions posted or all at once.

Okay, so I tried the unofficial transcript option on MyUW again. But instead of the “Student Personal Services” error we were all receiving, I got this error: “Service Unavailable. The Student Information System is not in service at this time…” What could this mean?

Same for the Confirm Enrollment way to check. It says System Currently Unavailable.

Same for the Confirm Enrollment way to check. It says System Currently Unavailable.

Tomorrow must be the day then, at least for a few of us. How do you check the unofficial transitory thing? I never really found it…

Guys, the application status is not working either. I clicked on the “View Your International Freshman Application Status” button on MyUW and it just sent me to this page saying Admissions Application Status - Unavailable. Anyone else getting that?
