Does anyone know if they accept transfers based on the spots they have for each program?
I have wondered that as well, @Donatello7654. I don’t have an answer, but I can say that Vanderbilt seems like a school that values balance. Therefore, they wouldn’t want unbalanced placement in their programs. I think that if they were asked, they would say that there aren’t specific numbers of students taken into each program, that it is purely based on each applicant. But based on their published statistics, I would have to respectfully disagree.

Jameson5, I transfer from Massachusetts cc and applied to Engendering (Computer Science).
I don’t have usual GPA from HS because I finished it at another country.
College GPA 3.94
Work full-time, college is full-time except this semester because I needed only one class for associate degree.
2 strong recommendation letters from professors
About 60 credits without those that I got at ESL classes.
@MJP2018 what school are you coming from…? Saying “from a private school ranked 25-31” is a vague description

Does anyone have any insight on where majority of the transfers live on campus?
@WMstudent18 I don’t necessarily want to say what school, but I assumed that giving that information would give a better picture of what type of school I am coming from in relation to Vanderbilt.
@Donatello7654 someone said in one of the past transfer year chains that there are two dorms that most transfers live in. They are considered “upperclass” dorms.

Does this mean they’re going to put up the decisions soon?
The way I see it, there are 2 possibilities as to why this is happening:
- Registration is happening today, so their servers are down
- They're actually doing something with our decisions, in which case...
Think positive @newnorg! Would registration be happening this early? And don’t they normal post the decisions on Fridays, or is that just a myth?
