Official Vanderbilt ED1 Class of 2020 Discussion Thread

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Obviously if you have a 32 you aren’t out of the running – but I was thinking to myself “Will there be kids tomorrow that get in with below 30s?” Luckily I’m not in the position, but I am still curious haha

I love thinking about move in day and discussing who will bring the mini fridge with my roommate

I love reading about Vandy in general. Ive spent so much time looking at Vandy information and all I want is to get in!

This is awful. Every second of this is awful. I am going nuts.

I’m so happy I’m not the only one feeling insane about all of this. I applied ED1 to Peabody for Child Development, but will probably transfer to CAS after freshman year for premed. I just want to know. Good luck, all!

I just can’t believe that we’re SO close… it’s just a matter of hours!

Rooting for all of you to be accepted while simultaneously studying my butt off for finals! Haha

IS THAT THE LEGENDARY…COLLEGEPANDA96

Hey … kind of new here. I have been reading posts for last few days and thinking you all were a little crazy thinking that notifications were coming out tomorrow. But … they are!!! crazy nervous all of a sudden. What’s everyone doing tomorrow?

I wonder if I have the lowest test scores of early decision applicants lol. Anyone score lower than a 25 or 1710 (2400 scale)? Haha I have no chance of acceptance

@barneyingram Most likely on the verge of a mental breakdown at school

@Curiouslyliving it’s ok I’m feeling the exact same way. My ACT score is only a 31…hopefully my GPA, rank, and EC’s will counterbalance my low score.

Hey, I’ve got an ACT of 22 and SAT of 1780. I looked it up, and I should definitely be in. See you guys next year!

Don’t forget, all the scores you guys have are amazing! Yes, Vanderbilt accepts high scoring students but it’s all about perspective (:

@gregorious where did you find that info?

to those of us who haven’t score quite as high as gregorious. we will just have to wait and see.@waffledancerxox less than 24 hours. ugh. wouldn’t it be awesome if they posted on the blog, “in 5 minutes your decisions will be online”

MY FRIEND GOT INTO HARVARD!!! And I tutored him for the SAT and ACT. Hopefully the same can happen for me tomorrow! Good luck everyone.

@streeeater Hi I applied Peabody tooooooooo! I ve heard that it is easy to transfer between departments all you need to do is to fill out some forms:)
