Anyone send in their midterm reports?

You do not need to…

@gregfields, Im a CC student in Napa. Im going to get rejected because Im 35. lol. from what Ive been told anyway.

I’m already so impatient to find out…

@norcaltransfer77 What have you heard about an age cutoff? I’m not quite 30 yet, but fairly close, and now you’ve got me worried.

^^^^Just that 26 and up are frowned upon because they wouldn’t fit in. I think it’s garbage, but even my admit counselor from Vanderbilt told me usually that is the case, but he said they have been know to make exceptions. He passed my application onto review instead of rejecting it right away. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that you are required to live on campus. Even though I checked and you are able to get a waiver to live off campus. I would have to do that. I really don’t think I have much of a shot after seeing everyone’s stats, but hey, i’ve heard it before on here “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t attempt.” - wayne gretzkey i guess. haha. good luck to you. have you spoken at all with your admissions counselor about it?

Thanks for the info. I googled around a bit and saw a stat on the Vandy site that 99% of undergrads are under 24. I’m 27…

I haven’t been in contact with any admissions counselor from Vandy. That is who you’ve been talking with right? If so, did they contact you, or you them?

Good luck to you too.

Yeah mine is Mike Drish, he contacted me about some missing documents early on and we have been in contact here and there. Mostly when I have a concern.

Hey all,

Did Vanderbilt just send you a “Congratulations” email telling you to RSVP to a local reception for newly admitted students? I got really excited and registered for that (which had an option for transfers) and Vanderbilt just sent me another email saying that they weren’t done looking at all the Transfer applications and that they sent that email in error to the transfers (newly incoming freshmen that received that email was legitimate).

Keehun

I got it too! I was so excited until I got the e-mail that it was an error…did anyone else get it?

I’m somewhat glad to at least know that my app is complete (they sent the messages inadvertently to transfer applicants with completed apps)… I called them a long time ago to make sure… but just another confirmation.

didnt get it but my app is complete

I bet you got in Keehun. The mistake was they sent it before all the transfer decisions. Dang I didnt get one. Sucks :/

rcfepk2 lets be honest… u probably didn’t get in. I have a friend who works in admissions at vanderbilt and he said it was just technical errors. The message was sent to all the applicants who’s apps had been looked at.

lets be honest. whoever got the letters got in for sure

Lol jk u prolly did get in

LOL alihaq777 I think you have a good point in your first post…thanks for sticking up for me 717, but let’s be honest.

I didn’t get the mistake email! Uh oh

Me either

I’m thinking first batch of definite yes and no decisions have been completed. Definite yes’s got an email. I’m hoping I am at least in the “maybe” pile.

I got it. Before I got the second one, I managed to share good news with a few people. I can’t describe how disappointing it was.
