Waitlisted.

“The Admissions Committee has decided to offer you a place on the wait list for the freshman class entering next fall at Washington University. If you would like to accept a place on the wait list, please read our FAQ page and submit your response by clicking on the “Wait List Response” link by May 1, 2012. You will also receive notification by mail.”

Rejected  Very disappointing because it is my first reach decision. My hope for my other “higher-ranked” college decisions is gone.

Well, looks like I’m joining the waitlisted club. Guess that means I’m “normal”… bummer.

I was waitlisted. It gives me the option to accept or reject the waitlist. There is no harm in waiting a month is there?

accepted! had to restart computer to find ‘decisions link’ though so keep trying!

Waitlisted! lol they waitlist too many people, don’t they?
Is the waitlist binding? I’m considering signing up for safety and such but I don’t want to be stuck if they take me off.

Rejected. Disappointed, but that’s fine. Move on.

hi guys, i got waitlisted! but one thing i dont understand, there’s no harm in accepting a waitlist spot right? so why are some people still rejecting the waitlist option?

Maybe it’s for the people that already got accepted into a school they like better? Or just for people in general who know they are not going to WashU for sure?

I did a quick Google search, and it seems like it truly isn’t binding. :/

WashU is big on that.[/li][/ul]General Comments: First rejection (accepted so far to Washington College, UPitt, UVA early action, and Williams early write) was a little hard, but I kind of expected a waitlist based on my little demonstrated interest. Congratulations to all with good news tonight!
