Writing

Whittling A[was once] a popular country pastime, B[but] it began to C[recline] D[as] people had less and less free time.

My answer is C because its popularity can recline, but whittling itself doesn't recline...??

you got it right.. word choice error: recline/decline

jrcho88, thanks!

would you please post some questions from the last writing section (the paragraph improvement)? i'm afraid i missed alot of them.

For the teutonic knight question, the answer is (A), because the sentence is supposed to be : The Teutonic Knights took over Gdansk in 1308 and renamed it Danzig ; by 1466, however, Polish kings were sovereign there once again and had restored the city's original name.
you can't just take a city, you need the word "over" after took for the sentence to make sense.

scan the black women passage instead, we need to clear the critical reading before writing. We already took care of the hard math.

keep it ALIVE!!!

evad - you can "take" a city. "a" is not an error.

can someone who has the booklet please scan it. No one can really remember any of the problems. please? pretty please??

If scanning isn't possible can someone write the questions to the black person passage?

jrcho, please I'm begging you man post the second CR section...
