Hey all, I’m an applicant from Malaysia. Unfortunately, I was deferred today. Quite average; SAT1 2120, SAT2 Chem 800, Math 2 780. A-Levels 3A*, ex national athlete. Recommendations would’ve probably been just alright. Anyway, I was reading on the website that to apply for financial aid, I would have to be shortlisted for an interview, which I wasn’t. But I wasn’t rejected outright as well (deferred). Is there a reason i wasn’t offered an interview? Doesn’t that mean I wasn’t shortlisted? But I’m deferred, not rejected. Everyone here seems to have had an interview. Any input is much appreciated, thanks.
