I was pulled over for the first time today...cops are gay....I must say..

I don't know if this is the case for you people but cops in my area are bored all of the time and therefore choose to bother you when it isn't necessary. It's simply because they have nothing better to do with their time. They can be seen frequenting Dunkin' Donuts and sitting in their cars with donuts and coffee and Wawa food. They can also be seen placing tickets on various vehicles and - I kid you not - they smile while they do it.

Getting pulled over sucks though. I'm sorry. I was driving through West Philadelphia with some friends last weekend and we got pulled over for trying to bypass a trolley. We cut through the bike lane. West is not a great neighborhood by any means (guns, murder, etc.) and I think I've maybe seen 2 people on bikes. People just don't ride their bikes through there. They take trollies. :) So there was no need for the ticket and having to deal with the mean female cop. She put down a mega fine and was going to give my friend points and it was just an overall bad situation, not to mention the fact we were pulled over for almost an hour.

Buy A Radar.....

I've been pulled over twice. Once the cop was nice and understanding and let me off with a warning but the other cop gave me a 200 dollar citation.

Radars don't work very well, if you are speeding often times they start beeping when it is too late anyways. And in many places you aren't allowed to have them in the car anyways.

LUCKILY my dad's a cop, but when I tell him he's gonna kill me....and he gave me a freaking expired insurance card...i told the officer i have an updated one at home but now i have to wait till my dad leaves to try and find it in his office so he doesn't find out..

Why would your dad freak out? Getting pulled over isn't the end of the world at all.

No, it isn't, but he's very irrational...he doesn't mind when my brother is failing 3 of his 4 EASY, CP classes, but when I do something like forget to let the dog in for an hour or get pulled over (only going 8 or so over by the way--not SO bad), it's the end.

I've never been pulled over. But, that's not surprising because I usually only go 5-10 miles over the speed limit. I don't think I've ever gone more than 30 over.

That's not fair, the fing cop was hiding in the bushes too..he came out of nowhere...my lit teacher was talking about how she's hates our towns cops because they have little to do that they are "reduced to waiting in the darkness with their little pad to give me tickets"

My one friend is insane. She's never been pulled over, and I'm pretty sure the slowest she's ever gone is 20 miles over. She's usually double the limit, but she's a very talented driver and can kinda do that...

I slowed down right when I saw the white in the bushes but I guess it wasn't soon enough..and he found an overdo inspection and he said I need to go tomorrow right after school or next time he sees me I get a ticket.

That is why you have to learn what streets you have to be careful on.

I actually knew that street was heavily patrolled, but I wasn't in the mood for caring today, I just wanted to get home...

does anyone know how much they charge for inspection (if anything)....I dont wanna go and not have the cash

anyone know..seriously?

I think it depends on the shop. Just ask first.

never over like $20, right?
