I plan on retaking the SAT (700+ on every section). I want to apply ED to Penn, and RD Schreyer Honors College at PSU, among other less-selective schools. Im thinking about revolving my application around my passion for music or something along those lines. Dont hesitate to give me some advice. :) Thanks for chancin!

You gotta get your math SAT up. I got a tutor and studied and raised mine 100 pts. Unbelievable but it’s possible. Your EC’s are good. Your essays need to be exceptional. You have the ability to raise the math score, if I could do it , ANYONE can. Study! and best of luck. I encourage you to apply ED to UPenn.

yeah that was the one thing I was kinda concerned about haha. there are times that everyone around here seems to have an 800 on Math. I can definately get that up plus I didnt get to finish my essay…ran out of time… so my Writing score can definately get up to at least 700 as well. Thanks for the help! Hopefully in a couple months Ill be able to change my name to pennboy26 lol

Need to raise your scores. I would see how you do on the Sept. test before deciding whether to ED or RD. ED is a slight boost at Penn but not a huge one for the unhooked–especially from PA.
