Oh hey... BABSON COLLEGE.. where and wats that?

Hey so I am attending Babson College and im part of the class of 2014.... over the last two years its jumped up from 23 to 17 in Bloomberg bweek rankings and its entreprenurship is ranked 1 in the country for 10 straight years.... so by 2014 wat do see Babson's rep as? Higher or lower? and how bout recruitment?

Don’t worry about it.
Really.

lol! thanks but hopefully i dont get disregarded for bc of ivy leaguers wen it comes to recruitment thats all im worried bout

Unless it ramps up the selectivity, it’ll struggle to climb up the rankings. Without launching into a rant, Businessweek’s methodology is suspect at best. Goizueta “better” than Georgetown and NYU? I think not…

“The SAT score range for the middle 50 percent of the admitted students was 1830-2070”
-Class of 2013

A good education can turn anyone with the drive into a functioning member of society, but at the end of the day investment banks are looking for someone with the natural smarts to crank out the cash.

bumpppppppp

babson is a good school. awful social scene and people are wayyyy too instense

Really, Skierecs7 !? Hahaa a girl I know chose Babs over UMiami and she’s the exact opposite of what you described so I guess she’s in for it. I’d never even heard of it before she got accepted, however.

bump!!!1111

Dude, are you just ■■■■■■■■ now? Shove those insecurities up your @$$ because you’re going to a DECENT school and stop waiting for people to say “OMG BABSON YOU’RE GOING TO BE SO SUCCESSFUL”.

wow dude i wud licl ur @$$ if i knew who u were… where u going anyway u chink?

You answered your own question with that last post

Just because a program is ranked number 1 for entrepreneurship does not mean you will be a successful entrepreneur nor does it really increase your chances at a venture succeeding.

Also it would help if you learned how to spell entrepreneurship first(you left out a ‘e’), I guess it is not an admission requirement into the program. You know to be able to spell correctly.

I’ll be going to a top 10 u-grad bschool with no insecurities regarding where I’ll end up even though it’s a “semi-target”.
