Is it bad that both my essays reflect upon experiences of my childhood but they definitely reflect different sides of me?

I think you would need to clarify that a bit furthur if you want a better answer, but here's what I think (and in no way am I more qualified to answer this than you are), if the experiences are about two completely different situations, ideas, people, and such, I think they should be okay. After all, the common app essays and the princeton essays are all looking for how things have affected you personally.

yea I partly agree with "rotor-bird", but I remember the Princeton supplement stating something like the essay should not have ANYTHING to do with the common application essay. So, if you are sure nothing correlates, then..... I am also not in the best position to answer the question...it is just my opinion.

i think its fine
