oh my god, two typos in my submitted essay

<p>I just realized my application has two major typos. </p>

<p>One where I said "I nearly fell asleep on computer" instead of "I nearly asleep on the computer" and one where it says "I often to have to reprint a draft several times before I"m satisfied with the revision." instead of "I often have to repint a draft several times before I"m satisfied with the revision." </p>

<p>I can't believe I didn't catch this, I proofread that thing over and over. </p>

<p>SO now I have question, does this mean my chances for the UC system are just completely ruined?</p>

<p>It will hurt your essay, but what admissions officers are really looking for is substance. If the content is stellar then they may be more forgiving.</p>

<p>Oh well, really doesn't matter. I don't think the UCs care as much as about essays as about GPAs. </p>

<p>I didn't write about what I should have. I should have wrote about something entirely different, but I didn't. So for my next two applications, I won't make that mistake. </p>

<p>I still can always reapply to UCI too. I went there for a year and transfered to a CC because I didn't like the kids there. </p>

<p>As for as I know for UCLA, you have to meet all the prereqs and there's two I'm missing, so that will probably blow my chances too. </p>

<p>For Cal, well, 8% admission rate for Haas, so that's also a long shot. </p>

<p>For Santa Cruz and Riverside, I don't know if it will matter or not. </p>

<p>For San Deigo, don't know, but I really don't want to major in Econ either. </p>

<p>So maybe this was for the best, haha.</p>
