oh my goodness, schedules are so confusing!

i've been looking at the course syllabus and required credits for exeter, it's rather confusing for me because i'll be going junior year and there's certain classes I have to take. what happens if you're in a higher level class at your own school ie I have to take advanced calculus at exeter this coming year but in the guide it says I have to take a placement test??
can't I just get a signature from a teacher?

Yeah, but if you are truly at that level, then it would show during the placement test, so you don’t have anything to worry about.

They will send you placement tests for math and language and place you that way. Exeter math courses are a lot different than other school’s so I wouldn’t try to circumvent the process. You don’t want to be incorrectly placed in an Exeter math course and find that it is way over (or under) your head. For help in determining your courses you should contact the office of the Dean of Students. They are very helpful and can assist you in choosing your courses, including your electives. As a junior you may even be able to speak to a college counselor before signing up for your courses.

do you think i can get all that information at explore exeter?

I’m sure you can. You may even be able to meet with a college counselor and/or dean of students. My daughter didn’t go to explore exeter, her mind was made up after her interview. :)

oh I’m definitely going to exeter as well  I’m just a little confused with the scheduling and all.

The Deans will help you out, hotchkissjin. You’ll be fine. Welcome to Exeter!
