Oh No!! Horrible AP Exam Results!

I just recieved my scores and I am beyond upset. I'm mortified. I wish I could have done better on the tests. I actually thought that after I finished the exams that I did pretty decent but I guess I was wrong. I just want to know if colleges will see my poor grades or not. I will be a junior this year btw.

Sophomore AP Exam Results:
AP French Language: 1 (least prepared for, a lot of classmates were in the same boat. Teacher sucked.)
AP Human Geography: 2 (It was the easiest class for me.....)
AP World History: 3 (Hardest class for me)

PS: I got all As/Bs in every class

Hopefully if I can I would like to retake AP French again and see if I can get a better score because I think its the most important. Also can I delete AP scores so colleges don't see them.

thank you

Get off of this website NOW. You are not worthy.

^^u mad brah?
^u get off, brah. CC is a democracy fool.

tough luck brah

In all seriousness though, OP, just cancel your AP French and AP Human Geography scores (if still possible, which I believe it is) and retake them next year.

No, we have a non-CCers club.

AP scores are self reported. Canceling any of them is not worth the cost as (1) canceling and not reporting appear the same on applications and as (2) no college will rescind you over old AP scores.

^correctttttttt

AP scores aren’t used for admissions (from what I hear).

^not true…

On the bright side, you had a three in world history, which isn’t that bad.

Grade inflation.

CC suicide. Bravery, I like it

I believe AP Exams are mostly (except maybe foreign languages) just studying in terms of getting a good score, so maybe you just didn’t prep the right way. Don’t believe these haters saying you should ■■■■.

What a waste of $240 (I am also including the 3 you got in world history). If it means anything i can somewhat, barely … maybe, ok not really understand the 1 in french (I haven’t taken it but I’ve seen it.) But no excuse.

I think you’ll be fine, most colleges don’t require that you submit scores, but they recommend it. As long as you have good SAT / ACT scores and a good GPA, you’ll be fine.

Welcome to CC, unless you’re a ■■■■■ (since this is your only post so far). Don’t heed the haters. Also, this is the High School Life forum, where you will get many sarcastic and joking responses (though serious elitist ones may be found anywhere). I suggest taking these inquiries to the AP/tests forum.

I’m confused as to how you just received AP scores, even if you did standby testing–it’s August already–but really the scores don’t make a difference, except slightly to imply grade inflation. Learn the format better next time. My AP scores skyrocketed from sophomore year to junior year, because I did more practice tests and recognized the AP format. It’s not just knowing the material, it’s thinking the way College Board wants you to and translating their questions into what they’re really asking.
