I took the ACT no writing last June and got a 27
I had a bad test day, and I just took the SAT and got a 1690

I sent both scores to the four colleges I am applying to... will it look really bad that my SAT score was so low considering it was sent in after my ACT score? Will they mostly look at my ACT score?

Of course it will look bad, but who says you can’t take it again? I don’t think it matters that you sent it to the colleges. If you do better next time, they will disregard the older scores.

Take it again.

Especially if they superscore

Most schools say they look at your “best” score. Some will only look at the ACT with writing though.

Neither score is good, generally people have a tougher time with the SAT than ACT even though they are claimed to be equal. I’d try the ACT again to see if you can get it up (superscore, as others said, would help too)
