My low GPA is due to struggles throughout my junior year. The death of my uncle who raised me, followed by my mothers relapse into her addiction.
Applying early, chance me?
It could go either way. I saw quite a few people on the Class of 2020 admission decisions thread with low GPAs get rejected/deferred even with high scores (30-33). I know a boy with 33 ACT and 3.5 GPA who wasn’t accepted. Was there a place on the application to explain your low GPA? I think there was but I do not recall exactly. If you were able to explain that I definitely think that will help you. So it could really go either way but hopefully OSU will note your struggles and excuse your lower GPA. Best of luck to you
