My in state daughter accepted today at 12:45pm Bus/Marketing. 4.0 weighted, test optional, lots of EC’s.
UNC Chapel Hill released decisions at the same time just like Purdue.
S deferred.
Basically saying, “we’re setting you aside in case someone better comes along.”
Ridiculous.
My daughter was deferred. In state 3.9 no ACT or SAT. Any idea what the odds are after being deferred?
Still waiting for a decision, so my hope is that this is all random releasing!
admitted OOS (change in status on portal to admitted, no official notice). Majoring in CS. NMSF, ACT 36, GPA (UW) 3.8, 9AP’s prior to this year with score of 5 for 7 of them.
Are they sending out decisions by major?
Are they sending them out by state???
I don’t see it that way AT ALL. My dd deferred too. I see it as “we like you enough to see potential so let’s see what happens with our accepted pool”

Nah this is definitely in order. Acceptances first, then deferrals, then denials. I’ve also never seen this many people getting deferred from osu before. I got deferred too.
