Why are you interested in The Ohio State University?"

I first learned about The Ohio State University in the seventh grade when I met the girl who would eventually become one of my best friends. Her parents both being alumni of The Ohio State University, there was always a presence of school pride in their home which I admired. After spending many football games with them and attending sleepovers in the Ohio State themed guest room, I began to fall in love. I took a visit last year to The Ohio State University to see exactly what all of the enthusiasm was about and I was not let down. I talked with current students, teachers, alumni, and I was not let down. If the beauty and bustle of the Ohio State campus and the Columbus area wasn’t enough to convince me that Ohio State was a perfect match for me, it was the description and presentation I witnessed at the Fisher School of Business. The rigorous curriculum and real-life situations that the school offers their students is perfect in relation to what I hope to accomplish in the future, which is to receive my MBA degree. The location of the school in relation to he Columbus area also provides an advantage for the students because of the major businesses that allow the students to learn and prosper such as P&G along with many other respectable companies. My interest in The Ohio State University started with a spark but continues to grow and I feel I would have endless opportunity and great success if I was able to be part of such a well accredited community.

That’s the most glaring thing to me, definitely rephrase one of the "not let down"s. You also could probably benefit from being a little bit more specific. Other than that, no horrible errors, good luck!

Like the above poster said, there is the one obvious reuse of “I was not let down” error. Other than that, there are a few awkward wordings, but nothing big. Overall, if your stats and EC’s are good enough that you most likely be admitted to OSU, I would say that this essay is fine. However, if you are on the edge and may not be admitted, you should try to write a more creative essay that will catch the eye of the admissions officers.
