Hey
I am a rising senior and i am stuck between 2 schools:
Ohio State and Indiana
I am probobly going to major in International Studies and/or Middle Eastern Studies and both schools have similar programs in each of those 2 areas.

Considering factors such as: (in no particular order)
-Overal Academic Program
-Campus Aesthetics
-Grad School/Job Placement
-Social Life etc

What would be a better choice ?
Thanks

Do you live in Ohio, or Indiana?

i live in the Netherlands

If you are a rising senior, apply to both and see after that. You can't only apply to one school!

oh i know, it's just i was curious about the programs each school had to offer

I can tell you that the Middle Eastern Studies Center at Ohio State is designated as a "comprehensive resource center (Title VI)" by the Department of Education. While this is primarily geared towards research and Ph.D progrms, it also means that it's one of the top dozen or so such centers in the country, so the faculty (both in terms of breadth of disciplines and quality) is going to be top notch. I'm not sure about Indiana's.

As far as your other considerations go. I'd give Ohio State the edge on social life. It's in a big city, and the student body has always been a little more diverse culturally and politically than that of Indiana. Regarding campus aesthetics, Indiana's the winner there. IU is widely considered to have the most beautiful campus in the Big Ten.
