Ohio State University: Chances?

So I currently attend Kent State University. I completely hate it. Most of the professors are either really young (little to no experience and hard to work with) or foreign (really hard to understand in class or say one thing and mean another because english isn't their first language).

The next best thing for me is OSU in terms of notability and rating (I don't want to go to a low end university and OSU is kind of prestigious around my area). However, I'm scared of being rejected by them. Before I attended college, I graduated high school with a 3.3 GPA, a 1700 on the SAT and a 27 on the ACT. I also did a Post Secondary Education Opportunity Program (PSEOP as they called it) at Kent State for my senior year while I was in high school. I scored a 3.5 GPA overall during that year but only took two classes because my high school only allowed one class each semester.

This is my first semester of going to college full time. I'm taking 16 credit hours, but my biology and chemistry classes are incredibly hard due to the professors that are teaching them and due to the fact that I have only taken one biology class in high school sophomore year and have never taken a chemistry course in my life.

Unfortunately, I slacked this semester. I'm sitting with straight Cs in all of my classes (something that I never would have imagined). My current college GPA is 2.3. Simply atrocious. I'm running into a predicament, though. OSU's deadline for applications for the Fall 2015 semester is February 1st. I originally wanted to take another semester in Kent to bring my GPA up before applying but I don't know if that's an option now. What are my chances and what do you guys suggest for the optimum chance of getting accepted?
