<p>I have a 3.7 GPA, will have taken 3 APs by the end of my high school career, and 8 honors classes. I am 23/127 in my class as of this moment. I'm expected to end up 18th, as I have more APs than those above me and I am doing much better in those classes. My current GPA this semester is a 3.9. </p>
<p>I saw they consider people that are very strong in a certain area, and for me, those areas are history and English. I have not received lower than a 96 in either of those areas my entire high school career. </p>
<p>My SAT scores, I feel, will hold me back. I got a 1640 overall, but I retook them last month and the scores will be released on Wednesday. I feel like I did much better this time. </p>
<p>I founded my school's book club, I'm captain of my high school bowling team (I am on the All Star team along with having received the Sportsmanship award), I volunteered in the summer at my school at an "Art Camp" for little kids for the two years the program was offered, and I will start volunteering at The Red Cross next month. Also, I'm part of the Confidence Club. We basically talk to underclassmen females and middle school girls about what true confidence is, and how to accept yourself the way you are.</p>
<p>I'm also a female and out-of-state.</p>
