@accidentalprone did you apply regular? It seems like most schools like OSU give out more acceptances to students in the early action pool. I know a good amount of students who had similar stats as yours, test scores a little higher, yet still got into OSU, some even with oos scholarships.
My daughter got accepted off the OSU wait list yesterday along with three friends she knows who were wait listed.

My son was also on the wait-list and got accepted yesterday. The funny thing is that OSU was his dream school but it came too late. He is not interested in it anymore.
I actually got accepted off the wait list too. Hmm.
Fwiw, according to the Common Data set (this lists all the admissions information) for the Fall 2014 entering class, 239 students accepted a place on the waitlist and all were admitted. This should bode well for students who accepted a place on the waitlist for this Fall’s 2015 entering class.
