I’m a senior and I’ve been admitted to both Ohio State and Texas A&M. I’ve visited both Universities and I liked both of them a lot! Both are costing about the same amount of money for me right now, so there’s no cheaper option. I mean nobody here probably had to make this exact decision but I will take any and all opinions about these universities to help me decide!
Thank you!

Socially, they are very, very different places. Ohio State is your standard, diverse Big Ten campus where almost anyone can find their niche–everything from the young socialist alliance to campus tea party groups. A&M is a much more homogenous place. You really have to fit into the aggie mold, or you will be miserable.

Texas-Austin is a much more similar university to Ohio State than is A&M.

If you are socially/politically conservative and like warm weather, then I would say Texas A&M. If not, then OSU is probably a better fit.
