Ok, after flying to your college..

<p>Fill them snakes, leave in a friend's locked dorm room, watch hilarity ensue.</p>

<p>if it fits, i'd say put the smaller one into the larger one, and then store random things you might not use throughout the year in the smaller one. you know, things like extra paper, extension cords you didnt use, duct tape... various other things.</p>

<p>something i did during a summer program a few years ago: i kept my dirty laundry in my suitcase until it was time for laundry. might make your suitcase smelly if your clothes are smelly, but does save a little space.</p>

<p>I'm bringing boxes on the plane... two 50 lb boxes, and my mom is bringing two 50 lb boxes. I'm going to art school, so I have to ship all my art supplies and anything else that I couldn't fit in the 200 lbs I'm taking on the plane. I'm also bringing a small duffel as my carry on, so when I go home I'll have luggage.</p>
