Ok, after flying to your college..

you travel with 2 luggages (1 kinda big, 1 normal size) in which u put all ur clothes and stuff that you are bringing to college.

then when u reach ur dorm.. and u empty ur suitcase, take the clothes out, etc etc.. at this point, where do the suitcases themself go???
they're bulky n empty.. kinda useless once u're there
but u cant throw them away cuz of course u'll need them to pack out of there again

where do u put them? under the bed? i think 1 could fit under the bed.. not sure about both suitcases

Use them as pillows.

that's for ur imagination to figure out :)

Put them either in a closet or under your bed. I prefer duffle bags because they take up less space than suitcases.

Another option is just shipping a large box of stuff to you. You can then recycle the box, or keep it, (new ones cost $5 or less) and you'd only need to get it at the end of the year.

I don't know, but you have one hell of an aptitude for storytelling.

haha ummm store them for when you leave and have your parents take them home with them. sell them, hide them under your bed, put drugs in them, use for a backpack...the possibilites are enless

put them under your bed or put them in storage if your dorm has it. mine did. or used it to store stuff. or throw them away.

Use your suitcases as storage....or better yet, just don't unpack at all, and just stuff your suitcases in the closet.

Use them to haul laundry aroud your dorm.

Put the smaller suitcase in the bigger one and slide them under the bed.

use it for beer runs

Under the bed or in a box storage room, if you college has one

Or depending on the closet you have there might be a shelf you can put them on in your closet.

I plan to have my mother take them home with her when she leaves.

my school has a storage room that they open at the beginning of the year and keep closed until someone asks for stuff out of it.

use them for extra storage under your bed

bookfreak, what do you plan to do at Christmas and Spring break? You won't be moving, but you'll need a suitcase or duffle bag to bring clothes and other stuff you'll need while you're at home. I guess you could have your parents send them back, but that seems like a waste. And you also won't have them if you and some friends take a weekend trip somewhere. See my point? Keep at least one suitcase with you all year.

Yeah, my parents are taking the roller-board home with them, but I'm keeping the duffle to double as my sports bag/whenever I decide to come home bag. And if I'm not using at either, idk, maybe I could put towels in it or something??? beats me.

I'm living in a double (width: 11' 4", length: 16'), and I have them in my closet...even with 2 luggages (one huge, one hand-carry), they take up little space. If your room's not big enough for that, then just slide them under your bed.

I'm not flying, but the question of what to do with luggage is something everone will deal with, flying, driving, walking, whatever. I'm taking two giant duffle bags and a backpack. I hope all my clothes will fit in those. I plan on putting the bags in my closet all year.
