Ok for parents to call to reschedule auditions?

Hi there,
I know all of our kids are busy with school and rehearsals from morning until night. Is it okay for a parent to call and reschedule an audition for a kid, or should the kid call?
TIA

My daughter has rescheduled an audition when needed via email on a quick break from rehearsal (she’s a dancer). It was fast and easy and she had a record of the change.

For stuff like this, it’s totally fine; they understand how busy your kid is during regular business hours. It absolutely makes sense for parents to take care of the more “administrative” tasks.

Where it gets dicey is when the parent calls and asks all kinds of detailed questions about the program, student life, training methods, etc. - the stuff that the student should really make time to ask about themselves. (Source: I was a BFA/MFA theater admissions officer for 12 years)
