<p>Excellent! Your tone is respectful to their decision to defer you, yet you reaffirm your commitment that Georgetown is your school. You provide an update of activities and the honors you will receive in the coming months.</p>
<p>Your prose with the repetition at the end further emphasizes your strong interest in the university. In essence, you have written another personal statement and you give the admissions committee an opportunity to look at Natasha as a student, not a number or statistic.</p>
