I know that I CAN take the SAT for 10000000000 times, but
Is is really OK if I take the SAT more than 3 times?
I heard that even taking SAT 3 times isn't good...

Yes you can take it as many times as you want.
I think whether or not it looks bad is a matter of opinion to people.
I can't say for sure though because I don't work at a college. :P
Personally I'm taking it 3 times. I figure if I can't get the score I want the 3rd time, I'm not going to get it the 4th, 5th, 6th, etc time.

However, at one info session I went to for a college, the guy said a student took the SAT 15 times, and they just took the 3 highest scores, and ignored the rest. :P

Taking the SAT 15 times is pretty stupid. What a waste of time and money!

Don't plan on taking it more than 3 times max. Use your time wisely and study, especially to work on your weaknesses, in between takes. Study well enough for the first one and you might not need any retakes.

I can think of SO many better things to do than taking the SAT a bunch of times!

One of my friend's counselors said that your SAT score change is minimal after the 3rd try.

a girl at my school took it 6 times, and she got accepted to harvard. i guess it doesnt really matter, but your score is unlikely to change if you cant get it as high as you want after the third try...

I heard a statistic that you grade rises on average 90 points every 6 months you take it. That being said, I think 3 is quite enough.
