Ok. . . So I sent the Application

How do I know if it got sent?

My application page looks "normal" and it says "application in progress"

However, I paid my $60.00 and got and e-mail about that.

What should it look like and when should I freak out?

oh and on the preview part there is a signature section.

I don't ahve to sign that if i'm applying online do I?

Or do I sign something else. . .?

There may be some form of online signature or something along those lines, but I don't believe I signed anything last year except for maybe teacher recommendation, or counselor forms.

I think Libby mentioned in last year's posts that there is nothing to sign when you apply online........

katia11, do you have a "Check Application" button that you can click on? If you do, what happens when you click on it? If there's anything that still needs to be completed on your application, you would get this message: "The following fields must be completed before you can submit your application."

No everything is completed. . . I realized last night that I paid the fee, but didn't "finalize" it. It is gone for good now. EEEEK!!!!

All fingers are crossed!!

Just mailed mine today!

I went to the post office with some friends and was all nervous and sentimental sending my app. off (yeah I'm a loser), then I got to the register and realized that I had to fork over like 6 bucks to mail it and then some more for an envelope and confirmation and got a little less teary eyed...

Its a nerve wracking yet reliving feeling knowing that it is officially out of your hands!

LOL this started out as a thread with me freaking out.

Now we're getting sentimental.

Its gonna be a longgggg 2 months.

actually less! 44 days i believe
mm hmm
i started the countdown a few days ago

It's going to be a long two months, but an even longer six months if we're deferred. I hope that for the sanity of all of us, this does not happen.

If it were up to me, all of us on here would be accepted. Because, come on, who wants to go more than the weird kids posting on a message board?

is everyone who doesn't get accepted deferred? or are there rejections outright?

That would be funny if they deferred instead of rejected. 0% Rejection.

Well I meant for early action. Some schools like Georgetown don't reject for ea.... I can't seem to find any info on Chicago's policy.
