Okay, I thought I was rejected from Questbridge?

So in the last month or so, I got a rejection from Questbridge. But today, I received an email from Williams:

"Dear Belly,

I received your contact information from Questbridge and given your academic achievements to date, I hope that you will consider applying to our fall visit program, Windows on Williams (WOW).

WOW affords prospective students an all-expense paid, three day campus visit to experience life as a Williams student and participate in programming designed to shed light on the admission process at Williams and other highly selective institutions. Though I will accept applications through early fall, I encourage you to submit by the priority deadline of July 1. To access the application, please click the link below.

I wish you the best as your junior year comes to a close. In the meantime, if you have any questions about Williams College or the college admission process in general, do not hesitate to let me know. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,"

I was kinda surprised. I was rejected by Questbridge, and they did not notify me about college visiting invitation or anything. Does anybody else receive this email? Is it a separate program of William or does it have anything to do with Questbridge?

And isn't today Sunday? I thought colleges don't work on Sundays...

My son is not in Questbridge, either, and received this email. I think anyone who applied, accepted or not, gets these emails. I know he got one from Dartmouth, as well, and got something from Harvard in the mail (not sure if that was from PSAT scores or the Questbridge app). Our income is too high (78K) but I thought it was worth a shot to apply anyways.
