Okay Paki's Chances anyone?

<p>Hey, I would like to know my chances to some schools:
I have an Asian backround (pakistani)
HYP (doubt it), Johns Hopkins, Emory, Duke, Stanford, Northwestern, Columbia, Cornell, Wash U in st. Louis, Brown, Georgetown</p>

<p>GPA: UW- 3.6, W- 5.93
SAT: 2070 (retake)</p>

<p>(I'll be in the upper top 10 of my class)
By the start of my senior year I'll have taken 15 or so AP's.
Current courseload is like 7 AP's with like two honors. </p>

<p>Taking 4 AP's senior year, and honors, and maybe 2 periods of medical research internship if I get accepted. </p>

<p>Extras -
*VP of Mu Alpha Theta (math honors society) (11th grade)
*Secretary of Social Studies Honor society (11th)
*Administrative Assistant of National Honor Society (11th)
*Administrative Assistant of Science Honor Society (11th)
*Member of English Honor Society
*(I've been in all those honor societies for atleast 2 years now)
*Member of CHess, SECME, FBLA, Model UN and Debate club
*Captain of my mosque's Basketball Team (we've placed top 3 here and there)
*Over 400 hours of community service
*Interned with a physician last summer and will do again this summer</p>

<p>For next year: (already had elections)</p>

<p>Pres of Mu Alpha Theta (math honors society) (12th grade)
VP of Social Studies Honor society (12th)
Administrative Assistant of Science Honor Society (12th)</p>

<p>Awards-</p>

<p>Cornell Book award, DIstiguished Delegation Model UN award, Top 10% award, and other smaller ones</p>

<p>I know my unweighted GPA is pretty low but that with my courseload and extracurrics should balance out right? REally confused about this college admission thing, I've seen some really abnormal stuff.</p>

<p>Hey I'm a Paki-American too, or as like my paents say, an ABCD.</p>

<p>Anyway, stress the medical stuff in your essays and remember to see if you have to take any SAT IIs for those schools b/c im pretty sure you have to.</p>

<p>Anyway, up the SAT score and get good SAT II scores and I think you'll have a decent shot at all of them</p>

<p>Both your GPA and SATs are not in the range for top schools. Most of your schools are super reaches with your stats. You need to find some real match and safety schools.</p>

<p>Top colleges do not have balance. They have kids who have high GPAs, high SATs and great ECs.</p>

<p>using second world is obsolete...i think it was used to refer to Communist countries..the term is "developing" countries
That's pretty much all I learned in Geography</p>
