Old SAT scores vs New SAT scores?

Hello!
I took the Old SAT earlier this year for experience and with out studying I recieved a 1640. I found it extremely hard and frustrating but I was happy with my score considering i i was better than the national average with out trying.
I took the New SAT yesterday to get my ‘real’ score and was pleasently surprised with the changes. The absense of so called ‘sat words’ and the new essay format made the test seem wayy easier for me.

I was wondering, has any one taken both SAT’s and how did your scores change? Is the New SAT score better or worse than the old one?

Comparatively on the 2400 scale, I scored 110 points higher on the new SAT than the old. However, I only took the MC part on the new and I took the test with writing on the old, so that may have played a role.

Use one of those concordance tables to see how your scores match up against each other

Wait until your scores arrive, then compare them with the concordance tables. You should also take into account that the test is curved differently so your new score may not look as good as it is.
