These questions are in regards to the old SAT (pre March 2005) and the new SAT (post March 2005). Obviously, there's the added Writing section, and I know that they altered the CR section a bit to exclude analogies and include duel passage comparisons. My two questions are:

1) Is the math section is any different? And if so, would it be less beneficial to study from an old math section than a new one?

2) Would it be less beneficial to study from an old CR section than a new one?

There is no difference in the Math section in respect to the type of questions.
The only difference is that the timings and number of questions are different.
No it would not be less beneficial to study from an old math section.

YES it would be less beneficial to study from an old CR section because:
1. I looked at the sentence completions and the words are 434839487987 times tougher than the ones on the new SAT
2. There is absolutely no point doing analogies

btw it should be "dual" and not "duel"
duel is a verb that means to fight
dual is an adjective that means 2
lol

Actually, Shubham, the Math section has eliminated quantitative comparisons and added higher level math (Algebra 2 stuff). This is what I would recommend:

practice the old math sections, minus the quantitative comparisons, but keep in mind the real thing will be a bit harder

practice the old CR sections, minus the analogies (the sentence completions and passages are still good practice). In fact, some of the test questions found in the Official Online Course at collegeboard.com come EXACTLY from some test questions in the Old Real SAT book.
