Does anyone get the feeling that there are more new SAT 1600s on CR+MATH than old SAT 1600s? Even though the collegeboard says both sections are comparable, for some reason it seems to me that there are a lot more new SAT 1600s. Anyone else feel that way?

Yes, I think so. The new SAT CR+Math actually seems easier than the old SAT, but the scale also seems to be harsher. I think Collegeboard was trying to please too many people with this new test, and they really messed up with it. The old one seemed to be working fine. I would have had a 1560 with the old SAT, but the new SAT helped me get the 1600.

have to agree with ramsfan. however the reason there may be more perfect scores is because that they got rid of the analogies and reduced the number of fill in the blanks

^ but then schools needed 3 SAT2's (2 subj u choose and 1 writing), and they needed more subjects u choose... u can only take 3 in one sitting in all fairness. That had to be changed
