Ole Miss VS Alabama for electrical engineering

<p>Does anyone have experience with engineering at Ole Miss? My son has been accepted at both schools, and Alabama's engineering facilities are impressive. My son likes both schools, but especially liked the smaller size and vibe of Ole Miss. However, I am concerned that the university isn't putting resources into the engineering area, and electrical engineering seems to take a backseat to mechanical and chemical engineering. Comments? I'd appreciate any input please.</p>

<p>Ole Miss EE offers students emphases programs in biomedical (a recent development) and computer engineering. They actually just hired a new faculty member who is expand the computer engineering department. EE is currently the second smallest area, but again, that continues to contribute to the small student to teacher ratio and the research opportunities available to students in the department.
