I have been accepted to Olin Business School. I have also been accepted to UCLA for Pre-Econ. I am thinking of majoring in finance and going on to graduate school for my MBA. Any suggestions on which school will best serve me?

Also, I am planning to remain on the waitlist for Middlebury. I really like the college, but my end goal is to do something related to business. How difficult is it to get into a business graduate school graduating from a LAC? (particularly Middlebury).

Thanks in advance.

Middlebury is one of the top “feeder” schools into elite business, law, and medical schools. See this somewhat outdated WSJ article:

Olin is a very good business school for both undergraduate and graduate level studies. The faculty are very aware that the undergraduates usually had a lot of choices including LACs like Middlebury. They value the undergraduates and enjoy teaching them since they are generally a very bright group year after year. Wash. U. is very supportive of double majors and other inter-department learning approaches. In addition, Wash. U. has very good liberal arts and including a top notch economics department which is separate from the business school (and has it’s own Nobel Prize winner, Dr. North).
The business school offers excellent international courses and work experiences (Courses in London in finance; semester working at a British firm in accounting).

NON-TARGET for BB ibanks and MBB consulting, go to middlebury
