I didn't see a thread already, so here goes!

I just got my letter in the mail!!! WOO!! :) Congrats to all accepted!

Now I have to choose between Olin and MIT ajdfklajsflka

I just got my letter in the mail!!! WOO!! :) Congrats to all accepted!

Now I have to choose between Olin and MIT ajdfklajsflka

I thought they would mail on 25th!!! Where do you live? Is it UPS or FedEx?

My son just got his UPS package and he was accepted. He is so happy. He still has to hear from one more school but it does not matter. Olin always was his first choice…

D got her UPS package today. She got accepted! She is so happy. Even though it was a UPS package she would have been upset at the wait list I think. She also heard from CMU today too, but doesn’t seem to care much about that one.

Congratulations to everyone that knows their results.

Son has a UPS package waiting, but he won’t be home for about 4 hours. We will not text him or anything, and I won’t be home for about 8 hours. I am on edge.

Question(s): did admits and rejections both go out UPS? Or does a UPS package signal acceptance? Wife says the package is “not very heavy”.

I believe accepted and waitlist came UPS. If you were denied it came USPS.

AGHHH!! No UPS here yet, but ours took an extra day last time, so maybe tomorrow. I’m going to be a wreck because I’m not supposed to open it until D comes home. Well, she won’t be back until MONDAY. sigh Congrats to all who are ACCEPTED!!!

Are rejection letters mailed overnight along with acceptances, or are they sent via basic delivery? USPS didn’t come with a rejection letter but UPS didn’t come either… I’m getting fairly worried

An extra day, Carimama? But it is supposed to be next business day? Say it isn’t so!

I nearly flung myself into a Fed Ex truck down the street this morning to dive into his bins until I realized at the last minute that it will be UPS. I’m calm now. Sort of. :D

Congrats to everyone who was at CW and to those of you here with acceptances already! We are all truly happy for you!

Thanks also to those of you at Olin involved in this process. We really appreciate the extraordinary effort you take.

Son was waitlisted- but accepted to CMU computer science so it’s all good! Congrats future Oliners!

LOL! Yes, for whatever reason ours came the next day. Doesn’t surprise me in my neighborhood. Everything is late here.

And to second DDHM’s remark about the administration and staff at Olin, you are all second to none! You really are an extraordinary team!

Waitlisted! But seriously considering the Gap year! (and just a heads up to all those parents waiting for their kids to get home to open their UPS package, the waitlisted looks just like the accepted… until you open it. There’s just a single letter in the package)

oh and @loser66, I know someone who got their rejection letter on Saturday and others who got it today, sounds like regular non-expedited mail

D got the fat packet today!

Congrats Opera Dad~!

DS was waitlisted. He is sad because O l i n was his first choice; however, he was accepted M I T EA and will be equally ecstatic about attending there as well. It would have been a tough decision between the two.

It sounds like there are a lot of exciting opportunities. For those not attending Olin, we will miss you… take the things that invigorated you at Olin CW and spread the passion ;)

Congrats to all of you. You will all be stars wherever you study.

Very smart that the fat pack includes a flash drive with all the info and a video. Saves on printing costs.

Ironically, it would save more cost had Olin posted their decision on the myOlin website :p. Nevertheless, the Flashdrive is very cool.

Congrats to all the applicants. DDHM I’m glad your son has a good ‘back up plan’ but I think that I’d be cheering (quietly) for the GAP year/Olin combination. I guess that’s what makes the world go around.
