I've been invited and I'm excited to go!

I'm wondering, how do CPW invitees fare at other colleges? (Don't get me wrong, Olin is by far my top choice, but if things don't work out I'd like to know what other options I have.)

It depends on the candidate. It's CW, for the record, not CPW (CPW is for MIT accepted students and is quite different).

Of a few of the students that I met at CW who didn't get in, there were candidates who ended up going to places from states schools to Harvard and MIT. The kids who ended up going in my year had a similar range; some got rejected from ivies, but a good deal turned down schools like MIT too. You've got a pretty good shot at going somewhere good if you got to CW :) Congrats, too!

Well, I got into both MIT and Caltech, and I'm going to CW, if that's what you wanted to know...

I think, based on the past stats, Olin applicants generally tend to be from a pool of students who chase IVYs and similar schools and have a reasonable shot at many of those.
