For both education quality and job prospects, I’m nearly certain that Wharton is superior (not by much, but superior nonetheless). If everything else is equal, I’d recommend Penn, but that doesn’t account for everything outside of the business school.

Thanks for the input!

Obvious choice - Wharton Business School.

They’re both good business schools, but Wharton definitely has more name recognition (at least where I live).

^ That means you live everywhere ;)

True, I was just trying to be respectful haha. I do think that there are more important factors than prestige, and once you get to the level of UPenn and WUSTL, the prestige is extremely high in either case. I say this as an admitted student to WUSTL and some other top privates.

If you think of career networking, I would say Wharton has a stronger alumni than Olin. When a lot of people think of these two business schools they are thinking of their MBA programs more ao than their undergraduate programs.

Well u never know- Olin actually ranked above Wharton in this years rankings (4 vs 5). But in reality wharton should be #1.

no question, Wharton Business School.

Thank you so much, everyone!

I mean your username is ‘PennFor2013’, so I think you were probably pretty close to making up your mind to begin with ;).

Go with Wharton. Ranking are negligible in this case. But Wharton, being closer to NYC, gives you better networking opportunities.
