<p>i used the river from siddartha. i also prepared notes for waiting for godot, but i had a brain fart and totally forgot everything i wrote in my godot prep. so i went with siddartha, which is perfect since it was one of my favorite books this year. </p>
<p>i actually really liked that last poem on the mc. it made me lol, almost. </p>
<p>i wrote furiously and hopefully i got some good analysis in. i really hope that i did well b/c my teacher was such a good english teacher and i feel like i learned so much from her classā¦so it would be a shame if on the test i got like a 1(knock on wood).</p>

<p>aupamplemousse: I donāt think the page length will be that much of a problem, except for one where you only wrote a page. It might hurt your grade a little, but Iām not sure.</p>
<p>hopeful_gtb: I feel the same way! My teacher prepared me soo well, and she is the best english teacher I have had ever. The last on the MC was such a good passage.</p>
<p>Yeah I used Lord of the Flies as well, but I used the pigās head and the presence of the Beast (basically same symbol). I did so terrible on the āShakespeareā poem and the crow short story. </p>
<p>I canāt guesstimate how well I did, but anyone know what you should get on MC and essays to get a 4 atleast?</p>
<p>As a phallic symbol? Our English class (one full of girls with a female teacher with me being the only guy) basically said anything they could was a phallic symbol. The other day we were reading a very very short story āThe Birthday Partyā and there was a cake and the candle on it was also a phallic symbol apparently which made me laugh. But anyway, so yea if my AP class was any indication then I guess that should be fine.</p>
<p>before we started testing, our teacher came in and gave us a little speech on how she prayed to the english gods to help us all today while she was driving to school (and then she hit a pigeonā¦ but since theyre like flying rats, it doesnt matter. thank god it wasnt a dove lol) and as she was saying how proud she was of all of us, she started crying. it made me like, even more nervous because now we have to pass the test!!</p>
<p>I used Blancheās rape in A Streetcar and Desire. worked out pretty well.</p>
<p>lol did anyone notice the repeated use of āfingeringā in the 2nd passage? I really felt the need to apologize to the reader because I used that so many times in my essay hahaha. </p>

<p>Essays werenāt bad for me. A little confused about #2, and I hope I did #1 correctly. I did them in the order 3 2 1 and wrote 2.5 pages, 1.9 pages, and 2.2 pages respectively (estimated, obviously). lol.</p>
