omg it may not be the 18th....!

Jadd:
I am not sure what online chat you are referring to because our office is not hosting anything of that nature on Wednesday, March 18. Please do not assume that an online chat hosted by a third party will result in admission decisions being made public by UCLA on Wednesday. Regards, Marisela

this comes from the official undergraduate admissions blog.....

***FFF

The chat is supposed to be the 19th. So maybe the poster/student wrote the wrong date and the blog writer (?) tried to be tricky with his/her choice of words.

^^WHAT IS THIS?!!?!??!?!
the chat is hosted on THURSDAY, the 19th, not the 18th! maybe a miscommunication there...

They are hosting the live chat on the 19th arnt they?

woooooowwwwwwwww

Yeah, but the link drbash provided was from UCLA's website and it said the 19th was the chat date: Live Chat (1000605)

That looks pretty formal.

The chat is hosted on the official UCLA website:

Live Chat (1000605)

post link please. i didn't see it on the blog...

i think they dont want us to know that its tomorrow

Admissions officers could care less about us. did you guys read this yet? someone posted it and i thought i'd share:
Dirty Secrets of College Admissions - The Daily Beast
takes the time off of our hands anyhow..

The UCLA blogger who posted the above quote did the same thing last year. Two days before the decision date she said it would be later in the month...I have a feeling she can't contractually say the official date so she employs "Doublespeak".

what i don't understand is the absurd amount of secrecy about the actual date of admissions decisions

wow that article makes the whole process seem meaningless.

I agree^ That article is not comforting at ALL right now! Hahah.

with you guys bugging them all the time, they might decide to push it back. LOL.

drbash, who are you referring to?

well no, it just goes to show you that your life wont end just because some idiot decided to reject you..because the who process is incredibly arbitrary anyhow.
i think there's some comfort in that, no?

The one who wrote the dismissal of the 18th date was Marisela, the UCLA Admissions blogger @ Admissions Blog :: UCLA Undergraduate Admissions

Yes, your life will end. Just remember that if you get rejected by anyone. YOU FAILED.

Or don't be disappointed, whichever works best.

Great job, making us panic over your screwup
