?????????????????????

so its not tomorrow..?

how about someone gets rid of this thread, or we just stop posting in it altogether.

every time i hit refresh or go back to the UCLA board, my heart skips a beat XD

I meant the OP. Even if decisions were tomorrow, his question would still be wrong.

"The next scheduled Live Chat event will be Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Incoming first-year students are invited to ask questions about housing and the 2009-2010 application process."

the words incoming first-year students can be interpreted as basically all applicants....so this is a ******** reason for thinking its the 18th

It is tomorrow. She's intentionall not revealing the date. Nothing more.

HAHAHA. Wow.. I remember when i was this excited :). just wait another day... youve been waiting a month :D

Good News....My email to UCLA:

To whom it may hopefully concern,

As a lonesome applicant from way out in NJ, I have been pondering the meaning of "late March" as I stare at the admissions website. As I am almost positive that the majority of applications have been decided on, is there any way you could get more specific on the date and time of the release of the decisions or perhaps have sympathy for me and inform me of my decision? (Hey its worth a try right?). Thanks for reading my email as I am sure you have many other things to do!

Their response:

Hello Jakeesha,

The majority of UCLA's decisions will be available by the end of this week (3/20/09.

She's lying! The blogger is trying to get into our heads!! ahhh

Oh my god. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight, or focus in school tomorrow.

all in favor of having a mod delete this thread say something that indicates that you agree...

^Check tonight at 12, if you'll be up that late, then check tomorrow morning before school, then check at school, write down the website and your UC ID#, then check when you get home, etc., until it comes out. I found out about UCD in the back of my Biology class at lunch where I let out a primal scream as I got my first acceptance back lol

i got an idea -- the mods should create a thread that only i can post in (so there are no false alarms) then ill post in it when the decisions are up. everyone can subscribe to the thread so they get notified via cellphone when i post (if this forum forum even does that)

Just relax. The decision is made, it's way out of your hands, and getting a rejection will not ruin the rest of your life. The world is not going to explode if you don't get into UCLA.

CHILL PEOPLE!!

The problem is that I live in NY. So I won't be hearing till 3 hours after everyone else. I'm hoping they release them at midnight PT so I can see them before school. I'll be on here to check early in the morning (7ET). Then I'll probably check 3rd period (9:30ET), Lunch (11ET), 8th period (1:30ET), and after school (3ET).

If the chat is thursday at 12 that would mean decisions will be released tomorrow since many accepted people will miss the chat if they only have 4 hours to find out if they're in.

^Yeah, that's why we have concluded that it's the 18th. There's no way if UCLA is expecting the accepted people to attend the live chat would they release the decisions on the 19th. They will most likely do it tomorrow evening.

They will be released at 5 pm for sure!

Not true. You get them at the same time.

They're secretive because they don't want 55,000 people on their website at the same time.

Ah, so that makes sense why they're so secretive.

If only they weren't such bad liars. Ha! I say we flood them!
