so after taking the 1st midterm, i definitely think i failed that test. i know there will probably be a huge curve but still i feel terrible aka dumb. i honestly did every problem in the giancoli book and i felt so confident prior to taking the test because i really studied alot for this. what more do i need to do to perform better? are there any extra problem-solving books for 7b besides the T.A. portable by elby? and any suggestions on surviving smoot? thanks.

Are you a freshman? You probably should've known that Smoot gives the hardest tests, and Giancoli problems are for noobs compared to his crazy problems. Didn't you try to practice off his old midterms?

yeah...i tried his practice problems but i need a better way to prepare for his future tests...and yes i'm a freshman. please help!!! i can't afford b's...T.T

You can't afford B's? Oh, you're gonna hate Berkeley.

^LOL. I concur.

He only has enough money for Cs.

Welcome to Berkeley! Here you will get a B in a course, guaranteed.

^ Not necessarily. I think the top scholar in the MCB department/ valedictorian graduated with a 3.99 last year.
Probably one A- or something like that. Insane if you ask me.
