I'm waiting from Hawaii and assuming that it is 3 oz.,
mailed from WASHINGTON DC 20057 to EWA BEACH HI 96706,
mailed on Friday,
and is First Class,
I should get my letter in FOUR DAYS.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!

EDIT:
So I forgot to mention how I know,
just call Georgetown Admissions and the recording will tell all.
If it's true, we should be hearing about acceptances/rejections/waitlists by tomorrow!!

OMG! My son got deferred EA and we are praying for a miracle…accepted UVA, waitlisted JHU, and rejected Duke. We are in DC area so it could be today’s the day…GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Any chance of it arriving in parts of Virginia today? About an hour south of Northern Virginia? I’m not too certain how first class vs. priority mail works.

So folks: to my displeasure i received a letter of rejection today in baltimore, md. For those who have not seen anything in their mailboxes yet, it could be that the good news is coming in the second wave. I will hope this is the case for your guys!

I have opened way too many disappointing letters from one Mr. Charles A. Deacon, more than enough for a lifetime lol. Good luck to all!

Crossing fingers and sending good karma to all!! DC should definitely hear today. In the midwest, it’s probably tuesday at the earliest! Haven’t quite decided if snail mail or email is better because there are definitely pluses to both. I rather like all the pamphlets and pictures they send in regular mail, but that online thing is pretty instantaneous. Truth is, I just think it’s better to see yes than a no! And the delivery is perhaps secondary!

Just don’t physically attack the mailman for your mail. The postal service frowns on that. :)

Hey, stretly from Baltimore, how far exactly is that from DC? I’m like 1.5 hours away in VA but haven’t checked my mail yet, is there a chance I will get something today?

the EA letters for acceptance and deferral were the same size. harvardbound, depending on if you live close to cities and somewhat concentrated areas of population you’ll get it today, or definitely by monday.
