Omg!! They sent out admission decision letters!!!!

<p>Last year, the acceptance packets came in a 9 x 12 folder with several sheets of paper inside. Would all that come in at 3 oz. or would it have to be heavier?</p>

<p>I think I might have gotten it really fast because I live only about 30 mins away from Georgetown. </p>

<p>[edit] It’s business-sized envelope btw. Doesn’t have much other than the acceptance letter, enrollment agreement form, and an info sheet for accepted students.</p>

<p>Oh my gosh, now I’m really nervous. I live in Delaware (about 2.5 hrs from D.C.) and didn’t get anything today, so probably Monday.
Accepted at Duke, hoping that’s a good sign for Gtown. <em>fingers crossed</em></p>

<p>freaking out, my classmates got letters, and we live in a really small city about 5 minutes from DC… not too far from the school :/</p>

<p>Ok, so I see everyone is asking how I got 3 oz.
Well I assumed they are using 20lb paper and
sending 3 sheets (I think that’s what EA’ers said) in a regular sized envelope.
It comes out to like 2.1 ounces with the envelope.
So I rounded up to 3, because they could be using official letter head paper, which may be heavier. And yeah, that’s how I got 3 oz.</p>
