omg university bill

lol...so I left my bill until the last minute to pay >___<

if I have fin aid do I just subtract the statement balance/amount due from the current balance? This is confusing since I have like different numbers everywhere. Say

Statement Balance: 17000
Current Balance: 13500

17k - 13.5k = how much I pay this quarter???

I hope they don't get mad if I pay one day late >___<

If you're getting $13500 financial aid (scholarships + loans), and the bill is $17000, then all you're responsible for paying is the difference (17000 - 13500 = $3500).

I don't think there are high fees for turning it in late. I think it's no more than $25 for the first week, which of course is less than ideal but much much better than it could be (say, a certain percentage per day).

No, the late fee is a percentage of the bill, assessed on the 16th of the month that the quarter for which the statement is applicable begins. I think the late fee comes out to something around 200 bucks.
